Setting sun in Botswana

Tale of a Sundowner

An African "must" is the sundowner. Safaris  should end in a stop for the celebration of the day, a round of drinks to cheer  the pure beauty of a setting sun over the African wilderness.

Working in a lodge offers fantastic opportunities to make dreams come true. I find it as if we were given the chance to create a moment in time which would last forever.

See the Journey of the setting sun though the eyes of the ambassadors of the dream...
All on board, we serpent through the bush roads in search of  the set for the celebration of the sun
Kaunda and Wacky, all prepared for the surprise "sundowner " for our lucky guests
Shattany stares in the horizon as we hear the call of our radio announcing the arrival
The sun has set, the day was beautiful so will be the night
Gift of the night return: Lekgarebe, the mother of the two cubs, is high perched for her welcome. A deep call starts to echo through the covering darkness
She stares through the night. A male has been spotted earlier. The pair will probably meet soon.

Gifted by the night, we decide to end our journey back to the lodge. The day has been absolutely magical...

Thank you for watching, and remember to watch the sunset.
